Can we have a ‘officially announce that it’s all been a terrible mistake, accept that the referendum question was genuinely stupid, that the campaign was crooked and is therefore null and void, and that we’re going to start the process again with a question along the lines of “would you like the government to review the options available were we to leave the European Union, and present those options to you for a choice once it’s clear?”’

Far to logical, it'll never work, I dread to think what social media will be like shortly, so much so that I've even stopped following my own mother for her (imho)outdated and pretty much racist opinions.

I voted remain, but I'd urge everyone to have a gander at the Lisbon Treaty...

If you read it alongside all of the exceptions that we’ve got, it works for me - what don’t you like?

I said this on a previous thread - I am a Remainer but think the EU is profoundly undemocratic. With that as context, I'd vote for May's ugly baby, on the basis that we'll be out for many years and her deal would only be the relationship at the start; it would evolve over the years.

As a naive youngster that knows next to nothing about this other than it's fucked up my workplace, did we have to rush Article 50? Considering a referendum isn't legally binding and just an opinion of what the public believe is the best thing, it seemed mad to me that we triggered that without having the briefest hints of a plan involved first.

I'm concerned over the increasing integration Europe wide, and the removal of sovereignty regarding our position as a separate entity within the worldwide stage.
Reading that, I'd actually be persuaded to vote leave if it came to a second referendum.
