Someone on TCR scoffed at the idea of RDM coming here, as "why would he go from Champions League to L2 ?"

TEN years ago, RDM was not yet a manager. He was appointed manager of MK Dons on 2nd July 2008

I always liked RDM, but I'm not sure how good he is without Eddie Newton. It's no coincidence that Chelsea kept Newton on the coaching staff after sacking RDM

David Unsworth (with a seasoned L1/L2 veteran as his #2).

Unsworth has more experience of managing youth levels rather than grown ups.
