Realised there wasn't a thread in the players Lounge for Liam Kelly (There isn't many for a lot of them!)

For me, a massive disappointment this season, maybe our worst signing? Not sure whether I should have expected the Crawley Liam Kelly, who was a standout for them last season, or the Liam Kelly who managed to drop back into the NL. It's certainly more the later. He's done very little to affect or control games in the manner we had hoped. He's blowing constantly and clearly has a fitness issue. He offers very little off the ball and has lapses in concentration. At this moment in time, I wouldn't be disappointed to see him depart in the summer.

I'll be disappointed if he doesn't depart in the summer, I appreciate he hasn't been awful deliberately but he seems unable to reach a level even close to what he achieved last year and that can't be tolerated for another season.

I felt he was the scapegoat today, but it's hard to come back from that.

I thought the cheering when he was subbed off today was particularly harsh. I don't think he played well and he's been really disappointing all season, but he was hardly the only one today to have a poor game. If people want to boo the team overall I have no issue with that, but targeting our own players on an individual basis never sits well with me

This.

He definitely wasn't the worse player out there today, Nemane and Orsi were far worse.

I said on another thread, cheering Kelly off was a step too far, the whole team collectively were total shit, they deserved the boos, but targeting one player is disgraceful and it’s not something I want to hear again anytime soon

Agreed. Did think Kelly was shit though, but he’s had worse games.
