I finally went back to check the original having only ever listened to the 'Stupidity' live Feelgood version where the lyrics are barked out in an incomprehensible manner.
Thomas' are plain ridiculous but (as Lemmy said/sang on 'over the top') at least it rhymes - and sound good.
