Fair play to you BCS. Following this club is a gruelling test of endurance most of the time so I am sure a Marathon will be no problem for you  Hope you smash it.

Well done on the weight loss and fitness journey - something I really should try and replicate!

Enjoy Palermo; a wonderful city, and I hope you've some time there which isn't just running the marathon!

Donated. Good luck with the run. :)

Thank you so much Paul, really appreciated!! Unfortunately it’s quite a quick trip, fly out Saturday morning, run on Sunday and then fly back Monday morning. I just wanted to say a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who donated and offered encouragement. I finished the marathon today, hardest thing I’ve ever done and my ankle is in bits but I’ve done it. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, to get over £1000 for MIND was something I wouldn’t achieve in my wildest dreams. Thank you so much everyone.

Great effort, well done. By the way, we closed the corners while you were out of the country...

Congratulations bcs! I train 6 days a week myself for various sports/competitive fitness. My distance is 3-5k which i can tell anyone, is hard enough at a decent pace. The distances you are running are beyond most peoples wildest dreams and capabilities. Once you start playing with those kind of distances its a huge teat of mentality, willpower and physical resilience! So hats off to you mate. As fit as i am, marathon running is beyond me!

Get yourself some well earned rest and if you havent got one invest in a massage gun for those legs! Really helps with post training lactic and to stop the abductors etc tightening up.

Well done again mate! Great achievment and fantastic total to raise! All for a great cause and the memory of your dear friend!
