I think a decent barometer would be how hard you celebrate it. If it (an England tournament victory) had happened during Euro 96 I’d have probably been off work for a few days at least, I’ll probably just have a mild hangover on Monday if England win now though.

I know the reason for the vote is because England are in a Euro's final tomorrow, but I imagine the vote will be skewed by that timing as well.
There'll be some diehards at either extreme, like dons50 and myself, who'd vote the same way whenever asked, but I imagine a lot will be swayed by the fact it's out of season for Dons and the whole 'it's coming home' stuff that's going on all around the country.
If this was done during the club season, and especially towards the end of a Dons season as we pushed for promotion, I imagine a huge percentage would vote for club above country success. As it is, I'm expecting a pretty close vote just because of the timing.

England and Dons are both my teams, it’s impossible to separate them really, but on this occasion I would have to side with England, Dons will get the chance of promotion every season, finals of major tournaments are a much rarer beast

I've gone England. I'm not going to bore anyone with my feelings on the Scottish national team. It's easy to find on here if you're interested. But I'm guessing that you're not.

Anyhow. After an incredibly dull start, I'm actually enjoying watching England play now. Unfortunately I'm also enjoying Italy. In actual fact I'm enjoying Italy far more. They're a joy to watch at the minute. And are obviously having the time of their lives. But I genuinely want England to win, if only to piss all the Tartan Army off.

I've spent the last couple of days blocking twats on twitter who've been constantly posting shite about how much they hate England. One in particular. Known to some of us on here. A keen cyclist no less. Even to this day I find is wierd that someone who's lived the majority of their lives in this country can hate it so much.

So if nothing else, I hope England win if it's only to piss Sandy off.

I'm also slightly disillusioned with The Dons at the minute. I always get this way towards the end of the season, but this year it's not passing. Don't really know why if I'm being honest. I've already mentioned that I've tried to reassess my life recently, and so far it's working. I'm enjoying not having Dons in my life these days. So we'll see what happens when the season kicks off. But I'm actually not looking forward to the season restarting.

Completely understandable. Sounds like you're where I was about two or three years ago.
