I'm not sure who got the nod from the sponsors, perhaps someone could enlighten me and anyone else that missed it.
For me I think Gilbey just about shaded it with his second half performance, but as always its your call.
Please vote now.
Cheers
WD

Martin got man of the match from the sponsors I think. Finding it hard to think of a man of match myself I thought we was poor today.

First half we were atrocious, better second half when Robbie Simpson came on and won just about everything in the air. Mcgrandles also made a big difference imo. Lots of players had a poor game Lewie being one of them. My vote has to go to gilbey though.

Gilby for me. I always vote for the player I remember having a good game when I get home.

Gilbey without a shadow of doubt. Despite me not thinking we were bad today, his performance was immense today.

The tireless Alex Gilbey, if only we had a few more like him, he can win the ball, run with it and create chances, brilliant player at this level

Gilbey for me, but closely followed by Hesketh who works non stop every game.

Simpson didn't win a single header. Lewie made three or four errors but overall was pretty good. McGrandles was meh.

Just my opinion of course. Funny how we all see things very differently.

I'll go for Gilbey. If only the boy could shoot on target.

It is funny as from where I sat I clearly saw Simpson win loads of headers. Iirc Simpson contested the cross which fell to gilbey resulting in our goal. I can’t be sure if he made any contact but he certainly prevented their bald headed centre half from heading the ball away which him and the Curley haired donkey did all the time prior to the arrival of Simpson. I also saw Lewie make an unusual amount of wayward passes and I’m a Lewie fan. Our right side was very lacking attack wise first half, with mcgrandles on brittain, hesketh and mcgrandles combined made an enormous difference. IMO of course.
