A wonderful and bitter ramble by 4 men seemingly lost in life. It is so easy embracing the bar room / social media drone of stolen club, no soul etc. it requires no thought or brain cell engagement whatsoever. In fact a parrot could be trained to do it. ‘ Stolen club Stolen Club No Soul Pieces of Eight’ .

It is absolutely bonkers that anyone would find the mindless parroting of this in any way interesting. It is as agonising as listening to other brainless mono debates in football, usually saying the game has gone in some way.

I quite like Grimsby , and I don’t mind their football club. I quite like many of their fans I have met and they were great at the game , but these pub bores don’t do them justice sadly.

I actually thought apart from the fans refusing to applaud the English football league all time appearance holder for a single club - Grimsby were alright. Brought quite a few and contributed a lot to the atmosphere. Felt like a proper game despite it being a dead rubber for us, and one of those that, if a team went 1-0 up in the first ten minutes, could have ended 4-4. Had all the ingredients for a bonkers end of season game you get at this time of year.

The part I love is the main guy keeps banging on about giving away 2-0 leads, only drawing against a team with a 41 year old and despite all that the play offs still being in their hands. Errr - your 8th?????????!!!!!

TBH why should they applaud Deano? Most fans neither know nor care about other clubs let alone their players.

If I went away, and X team brought off X player who'd made an insane amount of appearances, I'm fucking booing too.

This reminds me of something Neil Warnock once said - "When I pass away, I don't want any silence or clapping -- just a minute's booing at clubs that hated me"
