What it is is out right bullying. Zelenskyy on his own why those two losers go at him, with more loser standing behind asking the most stupid questions. “Why don’t you wear a shit”. Who gives a flying fuck about wearing a suit?!? Did Churchill wear a suit when he went to seek support?

Iva always assumed the US spends vast sums supporting countries around the world and on defence so it can reap the benefits of the influence it yields

If they reduce / stop that worldwide spend surely it reduces thier influence eventually ?

If a small countries are no longer reliant on the USA for protection / aid then they don't have to do what the US wants ....then surely the US eventually loses out

Not pretending to understand it greatly but seems to then leave about a vacuum for China and others to fill

Don't get me started.

Trump has turned USA into the leader of the free world into the leader of the despots. I wouldn't be surprised that with the introduction of tarrifs, inflation and a tanked economy, leading to riots. Trump will also dispute the next election result and have a de facto dictatorship.

The issue for the UK and Europe is whether people can stomach increase in defence spending. All ready aid has been cut, green spending is next, which is ironic as it will keep us dependent oil.

Starmer should screw Trump as much as Trump would do him and then look to Europe and the Commonwealth. BTW he has played his hand well so far.

I believe the 2 term limit applys to consecutive terms only.

There are no rules which Trump respects. It could even suit him if someone like Musk stood. As if Musk lost, Trump could annul the elections and install a dictatorship. He might even then creatva new post for himself, like Fuhrer or Supreme Being.

No, its a two term limit whether consecutive or not. Trump can try to get that amended though, or just ignore it of course!

He can't change it without another amendment which isn't going to happen, he would need 2/3rds of states. He also can't just ignore it.
