So you want a poll to see if you're correct, just after you claimed there is a vocal "minority" that want to keep the name?

And I mean a proper club administered poll, not by supporter groups.

How are you certain it is a vocal minority then?

As certain as those that say there’s a vocal minority who want the change.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the owners are seriously considering it or have done already, they aren’t emotionally invested the way Pete was.

As I've mention3d many times, travelling away from home for 14 years and having season tickets in every part of the ground over the years and currently interchanging between the East Stand and The Cowshed, I've not met anyone who wants to drop the Dons. Mention it and it's shut down as quickly as it's left my mouth.

Maybe you should be in favour of a fanbase poll then to put it to bed once and for all?

Doesn’t matter what I say does it, you’ll find a way of countering it or disputing it or otherwise disagreeing. Waste of time when both of us hold strong polar opposite views, my view isn’t aimed at the hardcore vocal minority who are desperate to keep the name.

What we really need is a poll of the fanbase - a new one - to see what the overall view is of dropping the name. I know one was done a while ago but views change (including my own).

So you want regular polls until you get the outcome that suits you????

And I can’t remember saying “regular polls”. I don’t even know for sure if there was a previous one, if it was it was right at the start. Just one will do fine.
