I've just bought a couple of tickets for Kraftwerk at the Bowl next summer, and boy of fucking boy how hard do they make it for you to buy a fucking ticket for something these days? Giving a 62 year old man 29 seconds to input your details isn't anywhere long enough. Fuck you Ticketmaster. Still going though.

Apart from the Teutonic synthmasters, we have The Mary chain, The The, Johnny Marr, Billy Idol, The Psychedelic Furs, and loads of other chancers that sit in my record collection. should be a good gig.

It’ll be shit. With an audience full of ladybits. 8-)

True, Brando's going.

I may have to go, just to increase the Ladybit quotient.

Went to see Brando's synthpop band The Sound Of The Crowd last night, and spent most of the evening stood beside the fuse board as they'd tripped the power out before the set even started. And indeed in the last song it tripped again.

However, those 46 years spent as an electrician obviously weren't wasted as a full house of late middle-aged groovers had a wonderful evening. Me and The Current Mrs Gers included. The highlight of the evening, apart from the power tripping obviously, was when someone asked me if I was John from the podcast. Fame, fickle fame.

I saw the Ruts last night supporting From the Jam (sadly Bruce Foxton was ill) at the Roadmender. Very nostalgic.
