A debut rocket of a goal for the magician has been followed by some disappointing results.

It looks like he has been playing on the right side of a back 3 rather than in the middle. Despite starting their first 5 league games he was an unused substitute during Swanseas defeat yesterday.

I do worry if Swansea fans lose patience in Russ ball, could this impact Darlings involvement. He is so good at what he was, and almost priceless to Russ-ball this summer, but a new manager may not appreciate those characteristics as much

Good, hopefully russsss does get sacked and darling regrets his decision to join the snake and ends up on a downward trajectory like every player that jumps ship thinking the grass is greener and teams back up with a serpeant. Maybe he will learn that russ isnt the guy to follow. Would, like i do twine, have wished him well at any club other than that snakepit but as far as im concerned the deeper the fall for all involved their the better!

Wow! That’s very bitter.

Time to let it go mate.
We are a stop gap for any aspiring footballer/manager, as are Swansea. Players in particular have got to put their careers ahead of potentially pissing off the fan base. It's a short career.
I'll never have a brilliant opinion of RM and to be honest I think he's an arrogant tosser. But I can't be arsed with the bitterness anymore. He's already doing a wonderful job anyway  I'm sure he doesn't need reminding.

As for Darling, here's my prediction.

RM will leave
New possession based manager, albeit nowhere near as extreme as RM will come in (Hopefully not Manning)
Will get the best out of Darling. He will rip up the championship and get a premier League move 18 months down the line.

Darling has more of a chance at Prem than Twine imo. Twine is too small and lightweight.

Hasn't featured in 3 of Swansea's last 4 games having been dropped from the starting 11. Did get brought in following a red card to another Swansea defender but found himself back on the bench after the suspension was over.

I love Darling and want him to do well, but a little part of me can't help but laugh at Swansea chasing him for so long only for him to be dropped so earlier into his spell with them.

Both Darling and Fisher were on the bench today and Swansea actually won a game
