Simple as the title suggests. Any gamers in here? I'm not as big on it as I once was, got phased out when it went so online focused but I love a good story mode and single player adventure. Be a good place for recommendations and reviews, though I suspect it'll be quite a quiet Thread- hopefully I'm surprised. |

Currently obsessed with the Oblivion Remaster. I was a huge Skyrim fan, but never really got to try out its prequel, Oblivion. I wish that I had after playing this, it's fantastic. The quests are far more gripping than Skyrim's were, I actually feel like I need to work to get to the top of the guilds involved and for a vanilla game (no mods... yet) I feel like there's far more roleplaying available to me straight away than there was in Skyrim, which is a large part of what the Elder Scrolls games are all about. Oh... and it has both Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean in its voice cast. Sensational. |

Hilarious I put this thread up and opened the YouTube app to see te long awaited GTA 6 second trailer ![]() |

Early game of the year contender just released. Clair obscure: expedition 33 I didnt think baldurs gate 3 could be topped but this is just a ridiculously well made, engaging game. Story/narrative is excellent. Its very very old school in the sense it doesnt spoon feed you with the map. It slmost emplores you to take notes as you play. If theres a better game this year i will be very, very surprised. Imo the first 10 of the year. |

I'm replaying TLOU 2 at the moment. Had to dust off the old PS4 though as I bought Xbox for this generation. Tempted to get a PS5 as well but not sure I can justify it, as I just can't game that much now I had kids. If I was to recommend any game, it would be the Witcher 3 (although suspect most have played it now). |

I'm like Alby, not so fussed about the online stuff. Loved GTA 4 and GTA 5, so looking forward to GTA 6 when it finally comes out, although that's been put back to next year. Saw something yesterday showing the timeline for GTA releases - 16 years from the original up to GTA 5, then a 13 year gap up to the new release date for GTA 6, presumably because there became so much focus on online content for GTA5 after its release. Sadly GTA 5 eventually broke the PS3. Still love a classic like Mario Kart, and they have done a good job of updating that over the years without losing the fun elements of gameplay which made it so popular in the first place. Really wish someone would bring back sensible soccer. Nothing better than a 15-12 win in a 3 minutes a half match! ![]() |

I just couldn't get into it like previous installments - and the online mode never felt like the same game to me. I dabbled in it and gave up quickly. Not my cup of tea at all. And I feel like it's the first big era of gaming I missed - I didn't ever make memories from GTA V like a lot of many millions of people did. But I remember long nights in the airport of GTA IV with my friends. Speaking of GTA - Since Christmas I've completed GTA San Andreas for probably the 50th time having previously completed Vice City last Summer. Got my hands on my girlfriends old PS3 and brought GTA IV - And the right trigger is broken on the controller ![]() |
