I wonder if the club will consider joining Bluesky? I'm very close to deleting Twitter, which is a shame as its always been my preferred social media platform, especially for MK Dons stuff. I only really want to use it for football related bits but my timeline is absolutely riddled with pro-Russia, anti-Starmer, anti-immigration, pro-Trump, pro-Musk content. I barely interact with any of this content, yet it is all I am seeing and I am convinced these types of post are being prioritised to drive an agenda. I'm also pretty convinced that most of the accounts posting these are being managed inside of Russia. Even on the football stuff, any interactions with the posts are just comments left by Bots. The whole place has gone to total shit. Absolutely not looking to make this a political conversation and accept others have different views, but personally finding Twitter unusable at the moment where only a certain view point is being presented and not even presented by real people. If there was a 'Twitter for Football' that didn't have any political element to it, I'd be on there straight away. |

Deleted my twitter a few months ago. Honestly the best decision I ever made. Place was a shit show hatefest and the algorithm's so broken that my timeline had started to show me things I really didn't want to see despite constantly reporting/flagging the content as something I didn't want. I've reduced my social media use in general and have noticed a positive impact on my mental health. Highly recommend ditching it. RE Bluesky - I know nothing about it and probably won't get it. |

I've only ever really used Twitter for sports news, I've never really considered it as a social media platform. I use the same name as here and basically only really repost funny anti-AFC stuff. I have to say though my feed is a mess. I think some of what Musk did there early on was good - replacing ridiculous amounts of blocking/deleting with community notes was good. Now I can't help but feel it's gone so far the other way and my algorithm is beyond fucked. I've gone off 'for you' back to 'following' which is just a handful of accounts but better than the nonsense which was appearing before. |

All the worst of the AFC lot fled Twitter for Blue Sky a while ago. Therefore I'll stay where I am.

I'm on there. So far so good, but it's obviously early days. There's been some rubbish from Andrew Tate, but he was fucked off instantly. It's only been two weeks, but you can already see stuff that I'm not interested in, I.E. bashing the right or MAGA. If it's only going to be a left version of Twitter then I'll probably give up on it, but I'm prepared to give it a go. |

As for Twitter. What I was getting, apart from pro-Trump nonsense, and Nigel Farage spouting anti immigration rubbish, was a load of attractive young women with a string of numbers as their user name liking posts of mine that I made years ago. As others have said, it's becoming totally unusable. Full of bots and right wing lunatics. |

I logged off Twitter before the last AFC game because I was seeing fans of both sides comparing which of their supporters were and weren't acceptable to take the piss out of for dying and who was worst for doing so. I haven't logged back in. I have been saying for months I'm gonna leave it and haven't and I haven't been arsed to go back, it's a cesspit. "Gutter" would've been better than "X" |

I've had a Twitter log in in purely for checking pre game news a d squads etc for Dons and other sports I follow I kept getting horrible stuff appear like violent street fights etc or crime.....stuff I reported to say I hate but to no avail Not logged on for months and have forgotten my password...I won't recover it.... Have got a blue sky but no Dons stuff as far as I can see? |

My organisation has officially decided to shift from X to Blue-sky, and are coordinating with the other key players in our sector to do the same. X is fast becoming another version of Trumps "Truth Social". Just a money spinning vehicle for fascists. |
