I WAS at the start but was prevailed upon to remove it as 'it looked silly'; just hope I don't f- get it despite double jabs.
The yoof at my table hadn't been done. :(

If you’re double jabbed, you’re fine. Even if you get it, almost certain that you won’t get ill. Relax :D

I feel sh*t today and it's all your fault.
I had hoped the bottle of red, the Stella and the Jack Daniels would have killed it. :( :(

Just got my booster at that place near Xcape. Almost exactly 6 months to the day after 2nd jab.
Pretty busy.
Booking was a bit of a mess. 'The system' repeatedly told me I couldn't book - after sending a text urging me to do so - and then when I swore heavily and was on the point of giving up (no human to talk to natch) it sent me a booking for today and another for tomorrow.....which the people at Saxon Gate said they couldn't cancel.
Hey ho.
What with the flu jab as well I hope I'm as protected as poss.
Good luck.

It's so weird how it works.

A group of 4 of us went to Wembley for the Euro Final. Out of all of us, two were so drunk they didn't really care about being cramped on tubes and were singing along maskless (I'm an idiot, I know) and one was masked up and acting sensibly all day. Only one of us got the virus from Wembley... I'm sure you can guess who.

Had my booster jab on Tuesday afternoon. Felt a little rough that evening, and my arm was sore yesterday morning, but last night was awful. Tbf I did also get the flu jab and pneumonia jab at the same time, so it could be one of the other ones (or a combination thereof), but I was shivering, hot and cold, drowsy, the works. A little better now, but that could be the paracetamol finally kicking in. Obviously I'm glad I got it, but just as a heads up, you might not want to make any plans that are particularly strenuous for the following day.

I'm booked for my booster on the 2nd of December. Exactly 6 months since my second jab. We had our flu shots last Saturday.

It's been quite a time of it at work however. Since the last time I posted on this thread, we've had three cases of it. One young lad has it right now. Two of my workmates that came down with it aren't vaccinated, so it's difficult to have any sympathy for them. The young lad that has it now is the fella' I mentioned last year who refused to come back to work, and caused me quite a lot of bother as a result. He's double jabbed, and I know I shouldn't laugh, but when his lateral flow test showed positive he actually fainted, and when he came around he called an ambulance. We're running a book to see when, if ever, he comes back to work. I've gone a month.
