Went online on Monday. Booked in at Northampton for Tuesday. Had the worst headache ever on Wednesday but a couple of paracetamol and a lay down for an hour sorted that. Really slick operation. The pain was worth the gain. Looking forward to the booster in Northampton in May.

Not sure if it has been publicly advertised to this age group yet, but I know over-55s who have been able to book around Leighton Buzzard/Aylesbury in the last couple of days.

Wife had her first vaccine last Friday (Oxford vaccine) And was advised that she would almost certainly have a couple of days where she would feel unwell, having had the Virus in January, They were correct, she was laid up over the weekend exact same symptoms she had with the virus, woke up Monday morning feeling much better. I'm still to young to have it yet, hoping I don't follow the same suit as the Mrs as I couldn't bloody breath :?

Ironically I've just had a letter through the door telling me that I can book as my age group is now eligible.

I have had the standard AZ vaccine two weeks ago and a trial vaccine AZ have developed for immuno compromised folk. I hope between the two my hair will grow back, weight will plummet and I will return to 20 20 vision... Fingers crossed...

Mrs R has just booked for next week in MK and she's 60.
Local appointments for that age group ARE now available.

Just had my first jab quite literally just now. Couldn't have been any easier. Fantastically well organized. Free parking, taken straight through, in and out in less than 10mins.

Good stuff. Hopefully no reaction.
As I said in OP had some mild discomfort in arm but nothing horrid. (Never had any reaction to a flu jab either).
Presuming second dose will pass without incident whenever it comes through.
