Congratulations bcs! I train 6 days a week myself for various sports/competitive fitness. My distance is 3-5k which i can tell anyone, is hard enough at a decent pace. The distances you are running are beyond most peoples wildest dreams and capabilities. Once you start playing with those kind of distances its a huge teat of mentality, willpower and physical resilience! So hats off to you mate. As fit as i am, marathon running is beyond me!
Get yourself some well earned rest and if you havent got one invest in a massage gun for those legs! Really helps with post training lactic and to stop the abductors etc tightening up.
Well done again mate! Great achievment and fantastic total to raise! All for a great cause and the memory of your dear friend!
Thank you very much, the first 21km were good, the second 21km were an absolute slog. Especially when they closed the water stations!!! That heat was a difficult thing to push through but I really was so buzzing to get it done.
I appreciate that, nearly £1100 now, just insane really. So proud and grateful to everyone who donated. All for my mate. #ShineOnHarry
