Listener to a recent podcast where he talked about his career including his time here.

Summary:

- Originally had offers of a loan from us and Lincoln in L2 but chose us as we were more commutable and he knew Tisdale and the former Exeter players.

- Said he had been questioning his career but walking out to 20,000 fans at Stadium MK for the Mansfield game he couldn't help but smile. Commented on the good atmosphere, the pitch invasion and scoring the winner. All of it felt like validation for him.

- After the promotion, said he had no offers from us, Tisdale spoke to him on the phone and said bluntly there was no place for him here but feels Tisdale wanted him and the decision not to offer him a deal was made elsewhere (presumably by Winkie, Cullen or Sweeting).



Good player who won us promotion and it all worked out for him the following season when he got promoted with Wycombe.

Bloody hell he likes scoring against us, doesn't he?

I bare him no ill will, never forgotten that he scored the goal that got us up!

I thought there was a mutual respect between him and our fans but seems not watching the highlights from yesterday. Pretty sure last time he scored against us at stadium MK he didn't even celebrate yet yesterday he scores and then shit houses our fans, why?

Fans always feel entitled to give ex players abuse but get very upset when they celebrate or give some back.

That was the single poorest goal celebration I've ever seen a player doing. He deserves everything that he got from our fans, fans who paid to go. He's a wanker, and I'm glad he was abused.

To be fair, I think it's his trademark celebration, but he happened to be facing our fans and gave it a little.

Not bothered personally. If you get called a C###, your gonna want to give it back a bit aren't you? :lol:

Guy scored for his team and celebrated. And so he should. Rightly so.
