Some truly staggering recency bias on show here. Best ever? For chunks of this season, he's not even been the best Dons attacking midfielder on the pitch! Glad he's hit form and goals now after a sticky patch. When he plays well, the team does too - and often vice versa too. Long may it continue. But I don't think Lewie needs to sweat too much about his "best ever" tag.

I said it's hard to argue - not that I think it.

Twine takes that tag for me, but I also mentioned longevity. Over the length of time he's been here he's been consistently our player of the year, that isn't a coincidence. And nobody argues against those awards when the times comes for voting. Lewington has recoeved one, and even then it felt almost like a loyalty award (Though he was great that season) and could've gone elsewhere to Fraser or even Jerome.
Is he as magical to watch as Dele or Twine? Or as game changing as Chadwick? No, probably not. But he's possibly gonna walk away with 4 player of the year awards in 4 seasons here. That's a ridiculous stat and not "recency bias"

It will be truly impressive should he do it but no one will ever overtake Lewie my point was he could reach second place

Are POTS awards voted by fans? I've never really paid attention.

If so, possibly more of "badge kisser bias" then.

But unquestionably impressive.
