I know he wasn't busy for much of the night but when called upon I thought he was superb. That save he made in the first half from their player's header was incredible, possibly one of the saves of the season for us, and he made another great save in the second half.

Looks capable with the ball at his feet too - still looks like he's settling in to playing that way but he made some very neat passes that were similar to some of Fisher's best.

Based on what I've seen so far, he's a far better shot stopper than Fisher, and probably 80% as good with his feet (but will improve).

He’s made at least one absolutely outstanding save in every game he’s played in so far. A massive upgrade

Another great performance. Really confident with his positioning and claiming. Get the feeling Fisher would have been a bit more hesitant today.

And the best bit? He can't be stolen from us until season end. :D

I would like to think that being however far down the pecking order he is ar chelski might mean a cheeky bid in the summer? He is quality. Only down side was one of his short kicks nearly put Watson in trouble but apart from that today he was sooooo good

So commanding today. Won everything he went for. And made a great save in the first half. AGAIN

I liked Fisher but Cumming is a massive upgrade.
Unfortunately, I suspect he'll be on loan to a championship club next season and we'll be looking for another. If there was any chance of us keeping him we should go all out

I suspect the idea of bringing in a loan was to give us plenty of time to properly scout out a permanent replacement. Unfortunately that replacement is going to have to live up to one of the best young goalkeepers in the country now we’ve seen how good Cumming is.

Genuinely think he’s the most complete goalkeeper we’ve ever had! David Martin was an amazing shot stopper but a one trick pony with distribution. Fisher was a good shot stopper but prone to a mistake and put us in more danger than he should at times although it was exciting long term it would cost us points. Willy g was an amazing presence but not a modern goalkeeper and wouldn’t fit in this team.

Cumming is an amazing shot stopper but what sets him apart is his football brain, his decision making is second to none. If we can keep him beyond the summer or dare I say stump up the cash to make his move permanent depending on how the season ends I would say he will go down as our best keeper to date.
