It’s back. Three glorious months where hope springs eternal, ITKs multiply like rabbits, and we all willingly subject ourselves to 100+ pages of fevered speculation, emotional whiplash, and writing off a 19-year-old academy product from Stoke before he’s even kicked a ball based entirely on Wikipedia stats.




I’ll start with Paul Warne becoming my new all-time favourite manager simply due to him using the phrase “marquee signing” and wanting to get them in early - two things I’ve said every transfer window in recent memory.

Jamie Vardy out of contract and in talks with us. Josh Kayode previously worked with Warne at Rotherham is another possibility.

Also heard that Dele told Sergi Roberto this is a good place to be and fancies a move out of Italy

Should probably mention officially that some random journo that I’ve never seen before has linked us with Ricardo Santos from Bolton.

We should be going no where near Kayode. Turned into one of our most pointless loan signings ever due to injury.

181 minutes for us over the entire 22/23 season
100 minutes for the whole of the 23/24 season with Carlisle

Has played slightly more minutes this season (296) but has only started 2 games and also failed to score or assist.

I know we like to rip up and rebuild the squad every summer but 200+ new signings is a bit ridiculous.

Been injured for a lot of this season but still a quality player for L2.

James Collins. now at Lincoln. Knocking on a bit. But still scoring goals.

Safe to say we'll be trying to bring Michael Smith in on a free?
