Amusing as normal, especially the bits about the Lewie Flop. Some interesting items

- Recruitment prep meeting this week. Wingers a priority (thank fuck!) and 2 forward targets identified he will be very happy about if they come off.
- Good explanation of how things will work with transfers over the summer, especially the June lull that is largely driven by agents. That's one to remember for the rumours thread!

Usual bugbear with the press though, no injury news.

Thought the Lewie presser was even more informative when he spoke about the underlying issues there have been at the club for quite a while now and said how Warne immediately identified and addressed them

The key item surely was that his new coffee machine has now been delivered

For PW's benefit, let's hope DL treats the crowd to several Lewingtons tomorrow.

I laughed out loud several times - can't say I've done that since Brian Clough's interviews! :)

I guess we'll never find out about what those were - pointless airing dirty linen in public but interesting nonetheless. It's been obvious that things weren't right but Scott Lindsay was a similarly forthright person, I'm surprised he didn't identify whatever issue it was and address it.

There were rumours of disciplinary action against some player/s, this may well be an underlying issue. Whether those issues are now resolved or not remains to be seen.

Putting two and two together, but it sounds like Lewi has felt there have been issues for a while and previous managers have neither identified or resolved them, whereas Warne picked up on them on his first day.

What that or those issues are I don’t know, but there has clearly been something wrong other than just whats happening on the pitch.

Everything I heard from Warne and about him has been ultra positive so far. The fact he wants to revamp everything and not just what happens on the pitch is something we have desperately needed for a while.

The ending where he speaks about splashing all the cash on some Cambodian internationals so he can have a holiday made me chuckle

Paul Warne, part football manager, part comedian!

I’ve loved all his interviews, he comes across as a straight up guy, no nonsense with a huge helping of humour, the latest interview was both interesting and comical, I’m now waiting to see who this 42 year old Cambodian international is and where he’s going to play
