Rumour from Alan Nixon is that we are after Neil Hart, the CEO from Bolton

That’s very interesting if true. Bolton seem like they have been well run for the last few years and as a former premier league and championship club you would imagine their CEO would be well remunerated for league 1/2 level. If that is the level of personnel our new owners are targeting you would imagine they are opening up the cheque book.

That’s ambitious if true.
“Wanderers’ Chief Executive Officer, Neil Hart, has been named as League One’s CEO of the Year (2023) by the Football Business Awards.”

Just checked their forum and a poster was claiming someone high up was leaving. This was posted before the Nixon story.

Suspect this is close to being done.

Looks very ops/commercial minded. Has a Sporting Director who oversees on the pitch stuff by looks of things.

Appears to have done a great job getting Bolton ship-shape given the shambles they were likely in when he arrived.

I know a Bolton fan who said he's done a very good job. Increased commercial revenue and works extremely hard.
It would be a major positive if he does come to a L2 club and a huge statement. One that some posters have been asking for recently (maybe not a player but this could help turn us around and push us up the leagues)

This would be a major coup if it’s true, he’s worked wonders at Bolton and I really don’t think we could get anybody better, fingers crossed on this one, he could be the best signing of the season

Wow just been reading up on him. He sounds perfect for what we need. Huge success with building relationships in the community and commercially astute. This is exactly what we need and if we get the community part right, it should steer us in the right direction in the long term. Realistically we aren't going to see big increases in attendances in the short term, but if we have a sound strategy and start planting the seed now, we will hopefully reap the rewards. We used to be a lot better at it this sort of thing, but I think COVID and PW cutting his cloth, those budgets, whether it was going into schools, marketing, etc, got cut. We've been banging on about it for years, but Milton Keynes is one of the fastest growing regions in the country, both economically and population. We need to be striking whilst the iron is hot.

It's only an approach at this stage as far as we are aware, but what an exciting opportunity for someone, as we are essentially a bit of a blank canvas. Potentially a really exciting appointment.

Bolton fans seem delighted he's leaving and digging into historic tweets they really don't like him, be interesting to see how he adapts.
