To be fair, that L2 season was so much less competitive than this one. There were probably 2-3 other strong contenders for autos, this season it's more like 6-7. He also had a lot of good players at his disposal from L1 - Chuks, Agard, Brittain, Healey, Gilbey, Kasumu, George Williams, Joe Walsh, Lee Nicholls etc. However many of our current squad would get into that team (Gilbey aside)?

Having the players is one thing. Managing them, and getting results out of them is another.

At the start of the season we all thought this squad was pretty capable. Given how flat the club was at the time the work he did was remarkable.

But we’re not one of the six or seven are we? Nowhere fucking near it, Tisdale was told to get us back up straight away, he did it, regardless of who was in the league
