We apparently did way more business in January, meaning we didn’t have to do much in the Summer.

Well that has completely changed then hasn’t it. Yet again, a new manager comes in with a load of new players signed less then 4 months ago on 2.5yr contracts.

So many of this team were signed off the back one 1 good season. So many in this squad are bang average lower end league 2 footballers and once again, we’re stuck with them and our new manager has to somehow manager the situation.

This is the biggest mess the club has ever been in. Significantly bigger mess than when we got relegated to League 2 under Jackson.

No manager can be successful here. No manager can manage a massive squad full of players that are not suitable.

To take this job, you must have to be unbelievably desperate.

Get Liam Sweeting out.

God knows what and who we will now get with another manager in charge. I assume more players from his ex club plus some duds from Sweeting

There is no squad nucleus any more. We used to have players who played a hundred games for us. Now most last barely 20 games. Sweeting has overseen a complete and utter mess , we are a random selection of loans, has beens and never beens. None of the squad have any value in the transfer market whatsoever. We have never been this bad.

Sweeting must go.

We only signed (as opposed to loaning) three in January - right? And I very much doubt Trueman and Williams are on 30 month deals. Sanders maybe. But we also cleared out a lot of the crap, and got fees for a few too.

Expect another massive upheaval as the new boss clears out players that don’t suit his style, influx of new players who do, the churn continues as we search for that magic formulation.
