How many more points do we need to stay up?

Genuinely cannot see where a draw is coming from, let alone a win.

I was having this discussion earlier

Typically about 44 will keep you up. Forest Green and Sutton ended up having ok runs towards the end of the season, they were sat on similar points totals as the current bottom two were at this stage then ended up with 42 points.

Will the bottom 2 make up 18 points in 16 games? They're both averaging less than a point a game as it stands.

Results will come for us, they won't be pretty or exciting nor will they be often. But we will limp over the line to our worst ever finish.

No way we'll get another 45 points.

Well no, but I hope we would get the 7 to get to 45.

Seriously though, I do think we need to finish strong. Limping home in May in 18th/19th/20th will possibly lead to a slow start in August again. That said the season before 14/15 we scored about 2 goals in the whole of April and played Alex Rae.

Next few months will be pretty horrible from a Dons perspective.

Good grief mate, you're about 4 years off there, Alex Rae played in 2010

 Getting old.

Think the season after Rae must have been when we lost to Peterborough in the Play-offs then. I remember we went on to have a good season.

2009/10 wed started well and tailed off with a dreadful injury record. I believe we even tried to get a game postponed against Charlton. Alex Rae came out of retirement, and got sent off against Brighton in a battling 0-0 draw. Lewis Dunk's debut for Brighton, no less.

The next season Karl took over, we finished in the playoffs and were quite unlucky not to get to the final. Alex Rae left in November to join Paul Ince at Notts County

IIRC a 3CR commentator once said 'he could start an argument with himself'. I also have a recollection that at one game he got red carded AFTER the ht whistle had gone and the teams were heading back to the tunnel.
