He's probably still the best at 'doing a Lewington' however...

Waller won a couple, but his needs a bit more finesse.

Tripp recalled with Dean Lewington STILL not featuring in the 18, are we really sure playing DL will damage us even more

As Dons50 used to say (until he reached his maximum limit), the manager knows best.

Gateshead are about to sign a defender from derby on a permanent which makes me think that tripp recall was a forced one rather than based on our own needs

Personally, I would rather we gave Tripp more game time right now than Lewie.

While Tripp has been playing at Gateshead, their fans were not overly impressed with him over the last few games. So as Alex mentioned, it could well be due to his game time about to become limited. However, Gateshead could also be signing the defender to replace Tripp as we gave them a heads up, who knows.

Either way, will Tripp be the savior to our defensive woes? Highly unlikely but I am all for academy players getting game time over players that belong to other clubs and I was also impressed with Tripp when I saw him play earlier on in the season.

Not a clue where he will play (if at all) though. Could be CB, RB, RWB or CM. Absolutely no idea.

If that's true, then fine - just why it's taken so long to ask/be updated on it is why we've been questioning his absence
