They should be counted for "we sold [x] amount of season tickets at the start of the season" purposes, but not for week in, week out "how many people are really turning up" figures. Why are so many not turning up each week when they possess season tickets?
We should do the same as othet clubs and include those to have paid to watch the match. Fans may be misssing due to covid, gone ti uni or a number if reasons. It's the same for all clubs.
I think we should only include those that actually scan their card/ticket.
It's probably just more noticeable for us because the crowd is spread thinly in the first place so all the absences exaggerate that even more.
I don't think you can blame "gone to uni" - the uni year pretty much matches the entire football season
Hopefully crowds will start returning to normal soon if a lot of it is COVID absences - either isolating or fear.
