Up the dons, who were rightly referred to as wimbledon by the crewe local commentary team.

Gianni Infantino is that you?

Shout out to East Wing Don, Ormeau, Towcestrian, Joe89, midfielder, Zen, epdon and others any thoughts after today? Do you think you were overreacting to the remote chance of relegation?

I’m not really sure what you are trying to achieve with this - is this a genuine question, or some sort of dig?

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and answer. Some of us, me included, didn’t fee comfortable about our league position because we weren’t mathematically safe. Do I think I was overreacting? No I don’t considering how the club has preformed under pressure over the last 3 years. We have seen collapse after collapse after collapse. Quite frankly anything was possible. Thankfully it’s not now and I’m glad we are now safe.

I only put a Bet on to put the Mockers on Relegation and it Worked, seriously though it has been a missed opportunity this season and the fact we didn't even get in the playoffs is Shocking...

It’s going to be tight, but we’ll be ok, if and it’s very possible, Accrington beat Carlisle Monday then it’s done.

They also need the points and I’m sure they’ll see this match as their salvation as well, Carlisle’s prolific Matt Dennis is banned due to a red card on Friday

Or we could just do it the easy way and win at Crewe

We done it the easy way :D

Feels like an after the event cheap shot tbh Aylesbury. Of course the odds were against us going down all along and I didn’t think we’d go down either, but our form since the six game winning run has been shocking (and we didn’t actually play all that well in that period either) so I can understand why some, including me, remained a bit concerned that it might actually happen. We’ve made sure of safety with two games to go so IMHO it’s hardly appropriate to call people out for voicing their worries.

Just because we had serious concerns about relegation, does not mean we wanted it. I was absolutely desperate to avoid it at all costs.

Also, no I don’t think it was over reacting. If it takes you 44 games to be mathematically safe from relegation, then of course relegation would have been a concern.

No one can deny this has been an absolute horror show of a season and even with a new manager at the helm (who we are all behind), an investigation still needs to be carried out in the summer to ensure next season isn’t the same.

Of course you can see it as a cheap shot but you were the ones running everyone down for stating the bleeding obvious (Carlisle and Morecombe couldn't catch a cold let alone us), well turns out the bleeding obvious was right and you were overreacting, I just thought maybe some humble pie might be being eaten.
