If anything was urgent it would have likely been announced with the new ST prices with a tagline of 'new season, new Dons' or something silly.

Given kits need to be made and marketing etc done, a decision would have been made

Maybe the new kit will be unveiled for the final home League game, and with that a new crest upon it

Not entirely sure, I was certain they had a 3 year deal so it's make sense. And given the sale prices its also make sense.
