Just seen Pete’s interview.

Limited planning application (presumably pitches, changing rooms/meeting room and floodlights) “to go in in the next few weeks”.

Only a small step but again he reiterated the desire for it to be a 365 day a year events venue. No doubt we’ll hear otherwise from “concerned of MK13” (or his “assistant” after the recent Twitter ban  )

Talked about events at the Bowl again too and players having to move training if an event is booked.

Will also be discounted by the 'team' at MK13 as more future broken promises no doubt.

Have I missed something? Did something happen to Bradders?

Hopefully all goes well with the planning application. Even just getting high quality grass training pitches will have a massively positive impact on the squad/club given our current approach. We have seen how the playing surface has hampered the team this year both in terms of ability to play our fluid style, but also in terms of injuries and player fatigue.

Just think how many players will be queuing up to come and join a team that trains using our brand of football week in week out on a nice surface :D

Pleased he's also read the room and commented on music as well.

No doubt they will still blame him for promoter's following the stadium trend, but at least it makes clear that if the option is on the table to hold concerts they will.

Saw one local Luton fan claiming he destroyed the Point last week. Ignoring the mega dome cinema built 500 yards away 14/15 years earlier.

Every day I thank The Lord I don't live in Luton.
I had to go over there just before Christmas and, well lets just say that during the years since I had last been there it had not improved.
Mordor is The Costa Del Sol compared to it.

I have always thought it was a classy place. Never been there, but I do watch 24 hours in Police Custody and a lot of that is filmed in Luton. Says it all really

He seemingly overstepped the mark with one of his tweets aimed at a local MP. “This tweet is no longer available” and hasn’t been seen for over a month. Looked very much like a ban from Twitter or he’s dug himself into a hole that he’s now trying to distance himself from.

The mantle has been taken over by his “Associate Editor”

Well, I've just spent an entertaining half hour going back through 'their' Twitter feed. Fucking headache.

If he's banned, we'll have to check planning permission submissions ourselves!

You can laugh, but someone has to hold power to account. Albeit him, or members of his team. As long as someone is willing to question the cutthroat, murky world of MK's political world, then I for one will sleep easier.
