Luke Williams’ barmy army

I am thinking about this, but is he any better? Got Notts County promoted which wasn't exactly hard given their standing in the league (big fish small pond). Had big expectations. According to the Notts fans underachieved finishing 14th something they were very very vocal about last season. Left for a "bigger opportunity" got sacked after 12 months. He is out of work so if they were going for him why not get him now? My feelings are the new guy is someone in a job till the end of the season otherwise there is no reason to wait.

And why did we have to bring back the fucking bloke from Gateshead? Because he has a funky nickname?

'Oh someone recommended I connected with him, as they thought we would get on well'

That must be Sweeting.

We need to drop players that are just not putting in the effort to win games. I want to see 100% from all players at all times. I am not expecting them to chase, chase, chase. They are human and don't have unlimited energy, but I expect them to be putting in the effort when they need to.

For example, watch the highlights. I said at the time that Nemane just jogged out to their LWB/LB for the first goal and its even worse when watching it back. He has absolutely NO interesting in stopping that cross. Should Waller have defended it better, absolutely, but no way should that player have had all the time in the world to whip a ball in.

For the second goal, Wiliams has absolutely no interest in playing football. He is just more interested in fouling his man. We've seen it time and time again from set pieces and crosses, he is too interested in blocking them than winning the ball. Last night, rather than being on his toes, he is just ambling around and pulls the guys shirt rather than attempting to get the ball. The rest of the players are then at blame for just doing nothing to stop the shot.

Based on what I saw last night, there is no way Williams or Nemane would be playing on Saturday due to their lack of effort when it mattered last night.

Waller and Kelly would dropped due to lack of quality.

---------------Trueman--------------
Offord, Lawrence/Sanders, Maguire
Tomlinson----------------Patterson
-------------White - Evans----------
------Gilbey ----Hogan ----Crowley

Would like to see Crowley and Gilbey swap sides. Would like to see Lewi play but it won't happen, so hopefully Maguire is back.

Very unsure on Tomlinson at RWB, but you just can't keep playing Nemane.

I would drop Nemane because it would force us not keep passing it to him with his back to the opposition as the ball ends up back with our defence 8/10 times.

I am lost with him. For a player who at the beginning of the season was running at players and crossing it for fun he seems to have regressed to a poor non league footballer. Twice yesterday (I stopped watching after 60 minutes) he couldn't beat the first man with his crosses let alone run past them.

I would also drop Gilbey and Hogan. I would have white , Evans , Crowley in midfield and a maverick strike force of Orsi and Tripp, and play very direct football up to those two, with white and Crowley looking for knock downs and bits and pieces among the chaos Tripp and Orsi would hopefully create up there.

Williams and Kelly should never play for MK Dons again.

I posted in the match thread during the game yesterday, that I cannot remember the last time Nemane missed the last man when crossing. He has been put in some fantastic positions and failed to put a decent ball in every single time.

Not sure if we have seen a cross miss the first man this year from him.

Nemane looks unfit . He has lost pace and energy like the rest of the team. We play jogging football .

Need a new manager and new coaching team in before end of the season.

The Lindsay cartel will take us down.

In fairness isn't it the Williamson/Lindsey cartel?

I expected, foolishly, there'd be a positive reaction last night with a sacked manager bounce. It seemed it was appropriately as flat as a pancake!

Unless there is a dramatic improvement and victory against Morecambe then I agree there must be changes and soon.
