Let it be known how much we want his leadership back on that pitch. Someone that actually gives a fuck.

Involved in the coaching staff? Sure. On the pitch? No thanks.

I adore Lewie as much as anyone but let's not pretend a nearly 41 year old who's not played for 5 months is the answer in this situation.

I actually think a no show at the Morcambe game might be the better play. Gilbey winging about "the lads being on the floor" has really pissed me off. You're very well paid and have let less well paid fans down all season. You don't have my support and I'm not going to attend until you sort things out.

I will be loud and proud for......probably about 6 minutes.

Then I will be angry and ragey.

Hence why I didn't specifically mention getting him into the team for his ability, but more his mentality and leadership. Having him on the side lines is not the same as having him in that back line and orchestrating the team.

He may well be almost 41, but he is not a normal 41 year old footballer. He is still capable of performing at this level and on tonight's showing, is a much better option than Waller given our circumstances.

Not going now, I've reached tipping point, not the quiz, with these underperforming twats, enough is enough, I'm done for the season for home games, unfortunately committed to three away games, although thinking of sacking at least one of those off.
How sad it's come to this, they can't be bothered, neither can I.

So why hasn't he been a regular all season?

You'd have to ask Lindsey.
