I like Leko's offensiveness and desire to always attack but I am not sure a contract offer is guaranteed. I'd like to see him offered one, but I do think we need to temper our excitement/expectations from him. Not just because of the major injury, but because since his time here he's blown hot and cold consistently.
The actual comments Warne made after Crewe:
“I thought Leko was ledge when he came on,” said the head coach. “He’s right up my street. Anyone who is brave enough to take the ball in positions, to run at people and wants to play is.”
Erm nope. That was Newport.
