THE APL PREDICTION LEAGUE SCORING SYSTEM 2024/25Below is the “New” scoring system for the new season. The rules are easy, but its worth having a read if you are new to the game. I work all the scores out and will hopefully have them updated ASAP after the game. The competition runs for all league games only.
There is no prize, just bragging rights and the competition starts next weekend with the first thread for the Wrexham game launching on Sunday.
I hope you can join us.  WDCORRECT RESULT – 2 POINTS
CORRECT SCORE – 5 POINTS + 1 POINT FOR EVERY GOAL
FIRST DONS SCORER – 10 POINTS
NO DONS SCORER – 10 POINTS
FIRST DONS PLAYER BOOKED – 5 POINTS (DOUBLED IF SENT OFF).
NOMINATED PLAYER IS SENT OFF AT ANY TIME – 10 POINTS
NO DONS PLAYER BOOKED / SENT OFF – 5 POINTS.
EVERY 10th GAME WILL BE FOR DOUBLE POINTS.
PLAYOFF GAMES ARE ALL DOUBLE POINTS.
OWN GOALS DO NOT COUNT, IF AN OWN GOAL IS THE FIRST DONS GOAL THAT PART OF THE PREDICTION WILL BE VOID.
ALL PREDICTIONS MUST BE ACHIEVABLE, FOR INSTANCE, YOU CANNOT PREDICT THE DONS NOT TO SCORE AND THEN NOMINATE A SCORER.
IF A GOAL SCORER IS DISPUTED, WE WILL USE THE BBC WEBSITE TO DETERMINE THE SCORER. ANY LATER DECISIONS MADE BY THE EFL DISPUTED GOALS PANEL WILL NOT BE USED.
FOR PREDICTIONS TO COUNT IN FULL THEY MUST BE UPLOADED AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE KICK OFF.
PREDICTIONS AFTER THAT AND UP TO KICK OFF WILL ONLY HAVE THE FINAL SCORE CONSIDERED FOR POINTS.
IF YOU MAKE AN EDIT AFTER THE 1 HOUR DEADLINE, ONLY THE CORRECT SCORE WILL BE CONSIDERED
