Legendary guitarist Jeff Beck has died from bacterial meningitis at the age of 78.

Not my cup of tea to be honest. He was to the guitar what Mariah Carey is to singing. I.E. why play six notes when eighteen would do much better. However, it would be churlish to ignore his impact on rock music.
