Went to see The Mary Chain last week. They were alright, seen 'em better.

However, they were supported by Brix Smith, with a band staffed by ex-member of The Fall. They were great, and I'd still do her.

I too saw The Mary Chain and Brix last week and agree with what the other fella said.

This week - the first Gary Numan gig of the tour.

Not music but what the hell...

Stuart Lee at Northampton Derngate this Thursday. Can't wait. Saw him there a year or two back and he was awesome.

Gary Numan last night at Oxford Academy

Brilliant gig - Numan was on fine form - the old stuff sat really well with the new stuff, the lights were cool, sound was brilliant.

Roll on Brixton next Saturday.

Went to see Living Colour last week, supported by Stone Broken.

Third time I've seen Stone Broken live now, and third time it's been an absolutely superb performance.
So tight, note-perfect singing & playing, and they work the audience superbly.
Most consistently excellent, tightest & best [support] band I've ever seen live.

First time I've seen Living Colour live - always loved Love Rears Its Ugly Head.
Wow. Four great guys - amazing musicianship & vocals - a great performance.
I'll be seeing them live again if/when they tour over here again - highly recommended.
