I'm pretty sure he was sacked after Thatcher died for saying there would be parties in the street. And wasn't he caught in a News If The World fake sheikh sting. Something to do with drugs if I remember. He left Radio 1 because he insisted on playing the music he liked, and wouldn't adapt. Good on him. |

(Don't know about the fake sheik thing). |
