EU members Poland and the Czech Republic's juries ranked the UK's entry 11th & 13th respectively - close but no cigar - as only the top 10 songs receive any points under the current system:
https://eurovision.tv/event/rotterdam-2 ... lts/polandEU founder members Germany and the Netherlands, plus Spain all received 'nul points' from televoters - perhaps Brexit was to blame for their poor results too?

In reality, it was just another poor effort overall by the UK, again.
There's a decent article putting things into some proper perspective, here:
"Yet again, Britain’s Eurovision entry has come last getting nul points from tout le monde.
Yet again, politics is being blamed – but wrongly.
The UK was simply outsung and outclassed by smaller countries who made more effort."https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/pol ... eurovisionGutted for Iceland - couldn't perform it last year when they probably would've finally won it but the whole thing was Covid cancelled, and then couldn't have the whole group perform on the night this year either, due to Covid.
