Fuck me! I've just been talking to John Niven, who's debut novel was a fictionalized novelization of that very album. It was 20 years ago to the day since he started writing it. Great album by the way. 10/10

Dir Straits Alchemy - Live and at their best IMHO.
I saw them on that tour - can't remember where (wonder why? ;) ) - excellent. Fast, slick, loud.
