Mansfield have changed their kick off times from 3pm to 1pm, to reduce their energy costs. Would you support MK Dons going the same? I do.

After todays mini-budget the ultra- rich who own most of our league clubs can easily afford the extra lighting costs.

True, although they will make the fans pay for it and not all the lowet league clubs are rich. Think of the environmemt too and fans attending away games will have to start earlier, but be back quicker. For those inclined, they will be able to get back to the pubs earlier.

I’d definitely support this, especially winter months, reduces energy output and would mean leaving the stadiums before it gets dark

It's a sound idea in principle but I'm not sure it will generate major savings. How many times have we been playing during the winter well before it gets dark, and it's been such a grey and dull day that the floodies have had to be turned on anyway?

This is my line of though. What tangible savings are we actually expected to generate from moving it from 3pm to 1pm? Genuinely intrigued.

From a personal point of view it would allow me to go to more games and get home on my scooter whilst it is still light enough to see my way home.

Personal viewpoint work until Saturday lunchtime so wouldn't get to the matches, not great for a season ticket holding family.

I am not against it overall - but any change should be agreed BEFORE the season starts (so people can reasonably assess the impacts on their renewals etc). Maybe some rules around distance between clubs would help too - i.e. if the away fans are 4+ hours away by road the time stays at 3pm.
