With the season a couple of months away, and the new Boss at the time of writing not yet announced, I was wondering what people’s minimum expectations of the season to come were, and what if not achieved could the season be deemed to be a failure, a yardstick if you like to judge our season.
So what level would you expect us to be at when the 2018/19 season comes to an end, and be happy that we had done well, or the best that could have been expected ?
Please vote.

Arggghhh is the question what are people’s minimum expectations?, what level would you expect us to be at when the 2018/19 season comes to an end?, be happy that we had done well? or the best that could have been expected?

Min expectations are to stay in the football league
Level I would expect us to be is top 10
Be happy we have done well is play offs
Best that could have been expected is automatic promotion

Hope that helps!

Actual expectations? We should be top 2.
Minimum? So long as we go up, I'm honsestly not fussed where we finish

Minimum is to stop the slide we have been on. Yes I would want us to be promoted, but a top half finish wouldn’t be a disaster

I genuinely don't think we will go up this year, but I could see back to back the following year.

As the poll is titled minimum expectations, I put mid table. My minimum expectation is that we get out of our losing mentality and give ourselves a platform to build on for the following season.

I reckon playoffs are achievable, and the optimist in me says we could finish even higher, but the minimum expectation (which to me means the minimum I'd be happy with) is mid table. But with the caveat that we're comfortably above the relegation zone and not in the survival fight at all

Minimum expectation is that we don’t go out of business.

Personal preference is that we win the division.

Losing playoffs should be

But realistically avoiding non-league

Just so much uncertainty are the younger players as good as we think are the existing crop good enough to stand up and be counted in this league, a nd how much time/money will a new manager have?

But that's football at a lot of clubs each year

Not as good as Oliver Twist but worth a read.
