That's an issue I can see with a second referendum - the leave vote being split so Remain wins with a majority still voting leave. It'd have to use alternative voting or something if they did that I would guess?

It would be a simple May’s deal (the only deal on offer unless you think all of the EU are lying) or remain. No deal is off the table but it does bother me how much support it still has presumably by the retired who don’t worry about jobs and don’t have the time to spare.

Which is awful isn't it? 30% on here want a no deal Brexit despite all of the experts warning them of the consequences.

What consequences ? There will not be some 'Berlin' type wall down the middle of Channel isolating us from Europe. Trade will carry on, just as it did before the EU, temporary EU labour will not be banned, all so called EU subsidies would come direct from our resources rather than channelled through the EU.

We would be free to create our own destiny, instead of being held back by vested interest protecting themselves from competition from us.

Most if the so called experts you refer to have their own selfish reasons for trying to thwart our escape, hence their Project Fear campaign.

The government's own analysis warns of the cost to the economy. Trade will not carry on as before. Worringly you, and people like you, are happy to dismiss whatever evidence is put before you. Why? It's the height of arrogance to assume you know more than experts.

What experts ? All these people who keep referring to the EU's miserable best offer as Mrs May's deal ?

It's the best Brexit deal on offer as it's the only deal on offer. It's not the best deal, that would be full membership.

There are loads of reports about the harm that no deal would cause, I even linked a few. You can either admit you don't know everything about everything (a sensible suggestion) or you can put your fingers in your ears and shout "Project Fear" every time.

We've even had the chairs of business and the unions get together to release a statement saying no deal would be disastrous! And the 'EU's miserable best offer' - what would you expect them to do? Roll over and let us tickle their tummy? Naive. The British have never been good at political negotiating, and this fiasco just confirms it. The sooner we get rid of FPTP the better.
