What exactly is it that has demonstrated Lewington’s ability to manage a League One club?

What’s that got to do with it?

F-all by the sound of it.

This.

Love how Rubio is the saviour based on a few interviews and a coaching course in Spain.

And this.

We can't keep sacking a manager every 12 months so if we do sack Neilson (and I have no issue with that), we have to get this next appointment right. It's no time for someone with no managerial experience. The fact that no-one on here is coming up with an experienced, successful lower league manager who traditionally plays the MK way is a worry, given that that's what most of us want.
Just who is out there for PW to appoint if/when Neilson goes? I genuinely don't know, and no-one on here seems to either. That's another huge dilemma for PW. Not just the sacking, but the hiring.

Far too sensible. Hush now

I'm thinking Izale in the role of strikers coach.

Rubio, from what I understand, will be given a chance of Neilson is to go.

As much as I'd love to see Edu as our Manager, I don't think the time is now in a relegation scrap, I'd like him to be given the best opportunity to succeed. Personally, in Pete's shoes I would have changed Manager a couple of months ago so a new Manger had time to asses the squad and make changes in January. I can see why Pete wants to keep RN though as he explained in his interview. He's a nice guy and I think not ruthless enough.

I don't know if its too late now, but I can't see RN turning things around. Its not a case of strengthening in certain areas, the whole team is not functioning cohesively. Maybe let RN make his January signings if the board agree with them and as much as I hate to say it, give him another month or two. I think its too late for a new Manager to come in now to make his mark, especially with how long PW will take to make an appointment.

I'd personally get Simon Grayson in if he was available.

He has a great track record of getting teams out of this division.

Look, no way is Lewie suddenly going to become our new manager.

But he may well be in say 5 to 10 years time....
