My dear chap, if you had taken the trouble to watch the English girls this week you would have seen some much more enterprising and effective play than we have been getting from the Don's blokes lately.

The women's game has improved immensely in the last year or two and is well worth watching.

I don’t watch a lot of games but highlights I do. And the games in tournaments are genuinely pretty exciting. The quality isn’t as good as the men’s game but the games and entertainment are. It’s getting better all the time

I'll watch the England ladies if it's the Euros or World Cup. I remember staying up to watch them in the semi-finals of the World Cup a couple of years back in Canada and it was a pretty exciting game.

Our ladies team seem to be doing pretty well, just like our U18 side.

And I guess from the lack of responses that there aren't many MK Ladies fans on here.[/quote]

Maybe not so much yet, but I predict that the Ladies' game will grow rapidly until the biased media will be forced to take more notice. ( even our own club website )

I can see the day coming eventually when all clubs will have a ladies' team playing in a fully structured league divisional set up. They are halfway there already.

I just hope that they don't start copying the less desirable aspects of the male game such as diving, arguing with decisions, professional fouls etc.

I have been to two women's football matches. An FA Cup final and an Olympic final. Both bored me rigid.

If enough people enjoy it that it sustains itself as a sport, then that's great. It's just not for me.
