Don't laugh, I've just re-discovered Alison Moyet's back catalogue and banging the tunes out in the car.
I doubt many would recognise her now, about 9 stone ringing wet.

Stay All Night by Stone Broken

First saw them as the support band for Cheap Trick in London earlier this year - had never heard of them.
Best support band I've ever seen since I went to see Joy Division as openers for the Buzzcocks at the Rainbow in 1979.
So tight, note-perfect singing & playing, a good variety of heavy rock songs, and they work the audience superbly.
Even though I'd waited much of my life to see Cheap Trick live before they/I die, Stone Broken blew them away imho.

Bought their debut album "All In Time" on the way out of the gig.
Wow, no filler tracks!
One of those rare albums you can leave on repeat, and enjoy over and over.

Went to see them again in Cambridge last weekend, and it was another, absolutely superb gig.
The new songs previewed bode well for the 2nd album & headline tour next year.
Meanwhile, I'm off to see them live again next week, as they're supporting Living Colour on tour now :D

They deserve to be stars - don't let the fact they're from Walsall put you off...

Delicate sound of thunder.

Pink Floyd

An album crammed with some Floyd classics, best played at full volume
