The state of this on twitter is mental the push for it is awful. Do more. Be better.

What is the reason for the ticket restrictions again? Even if you have been to 5 games this season but purchased tickets on the day, wouldn't that mean you're unable to buy a ticket for this game?

I wish they would revert back to post code restrictions if they're worried about away fans in the home end, although I guess that isn't possible with virtual tickets.

Just find it super frustrating that for an important game like this, someone that would want to attend their first game is unable to. History tells us that we draw in a MUCH bigger crowd when the game is important, for example over 20k in our last home game against Mansfield. Looks like we're barely going to have half of that this time around.

I've received an email promoting the game today and it is one of the worst promo emails I've ever seen for anything. And I write them for a living.

The subject line says 'Up Next: Mansfield'. Sell the occasion and the magnitude of the game ffs! Neither is there anything in the body copy about how this is a big game in the promotion race, only that the Dons beat Mansfield last time we played them.

Worst of all, it actually says that you have to have previous ticket history to buy a ticket - then in the very next sentence says if you don't have ticket history, call us up to buy a ticket.

It reads like generic crap churned out by ChatGPT. What a pathetic effort.

Not much point spending money on wider promotion if buyers have to have a previous ticketing history.

Do they though? This email simultaneously claims they do and they don't!

Yep, got that email.

On the Thursday before the game.

I honestly think they have given up on marketing games and trying to grow the fanbase. I get they've tried and to be honest to a point have failed but this generic junk thats factually inconsistent and confusing is less than worthless.

A simple Kids for a quid, or £10 a ticket or similar would work just fine.

Why on earth there would be even the merest suggestion of ticket restrictions in the home end putting off more or less anyone casual?

Foot, meet the blunt end of shotgun.

Didn't get any email, but suspect that is due to being a season ticket holder.

There are definitely restrictions though. You can't even select a seat until you have logged in and selected the qualifying offer (that you've purchased a home ticket before).

Absolutely mental.

On checking again, it does advise that if you are not registered, you can call up to purchase.

Whats the point of that? Making sure you don't have a Mansfield accent?

2 days before the game and we haven't even sold out block 11.

Looking at the seat map, it genuinely looks like we have sold less tickets than a standard mid-season, not overly important home game.
