Is the Morecambe game at risk? Don't remember the last time we had to postpone due to the weather but being in League 2, can't image we'll be turning the undersoil heating on.

Temp does look like it is increasing from Saturday, but now sure how quickly it'll thaw out.

The players can just wear astros. Or ice skates. Simple.

6 degrees and cloudy on Saturday. Unless it drops on Friday big style it should be OK.

We have undersoil heating so the pitch should be fine, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the last time we postponed due to cold weather because the outside areas were too dangerous for all the foot traffic? So I guess it's down to that.

Yeah that probably would be the case. I remember Arsenal postponing a game for the same reason as they have steps up to the Emirates that was deemed too much of a liability

Do we actually turn it on though? Always thought the cost was too high and we only used it when in the Championship.

When it’s this cold, yes. Not all the time but I’m sure it’ll be on today and tomorrow.

I think you might well be right there.
I can recall a 'bring your own spade' (and we'll provide the tea and pies) to clear the aisles etc when it was snowy some years ago.
I think there might have been an occasion when it was too bad even for that. :? :?
But we've swerved the really bad stuff. I reckon game will be on.

Undersoil heating probably been on since yesterday, the club would lose more money from a postponed game than the heating, game on I'd say regardless of the weather.
