Odds have lengthened on Williams after I gave him the kiss of death by starting this thread. But he’d be a good fit at Oxford. I hope he goes for it.

I think he's got a good thing going with Notts Counry and is looking likely he'll be L1 next year. Then I'd move on I reckon

Sorry to bump, but it now looks likely he will move to Swansea, along with assistant Ryan Harley (also formerly of this parish). This would be a bigger opportunity than the Oxford job.

Swansea are apparently set to announce LW today according to many reliable sources including the Athletic. Let's see how that one plays out.

Confirmed by Notts County: Luke Williams is now Swansea manager.

Great appointment for Swansea, that. Considering he know the club well too, it'll help massively. If Notts hadn't gone up last year I reckon he'd have made more sense than Duff, even with the more sizable jump. Duff is still a very good coach but it seems Luke is made for that job.
