That win against AFC should do wonders for him. It will buy him some time with the fans if things get tricky. He will also be starting to understand that 'Franchise bashing' can be turned into a positive and makes everyone dig that little bit deeper. Robbo absolutely understood that if you get the club and its Chairman, you are already on the way to succeeding.

Yep. my main thought from Friday night too. Anyone who manages MKD and gets one over that lot is an instant hero. Matches like that gradually gel the manager and the fans closer, it takes time afterall. And I loved the real show of jubilation by Robbie at the end of the match, and when we the fans see that passion, it warms us up all the more to him. So everyone was a winner in the MKD world.

Really looking forward now to Tuesday night, and a local derby. After an awful start to the season, we now have some momentum and looks like the lads are gelling together and could yet well be a good team unit. Again, Friday's match and simply the fact we won ought to have lifted the players, which in turn should spur them on all the more.

It meant a lot to Robbie to win that one, in his interview on ifollow he was animated even excited, I've never seen that before in any of his previous ones, it just seemed the manager, the team, the fans and not forgetting the chairman were all on the same high

Brilliant just brilliant
